Plus10.org is a membership-based Coworking community of Start-ups, Micro-enterprises, Freelancers and Digital Nomads. It shares a common workplace, facilities and occasionally opportunities.

Plus10 is both a place to work and to socialize, to make friends, to network, learn from peers. Collaboration is at Plus10’s core, has been from its outset, it is enabled, but it is almost always spontaneous.

It subsequently formed Coworking Ireland. Only Europe’s second national representative Coworking organisation together with half a dozen like-minded Coworking Spaces.

New space is located in listed 18th-century mill just off the central island. There are 30 desks right now with plans for a further 40.

Many years ago it was easy to get access to thousands of euros of Government Grant money. There was less competition, setting up a new company was expensive so fewer people did it.

Well… Things have changed.

Now everybody is building an Uber for, or next Google so the competition is really hard, driven by the lowering of entry costs.

But, that’s not all bad. If the costs are getting lower then you need less money to get started. You just need to get smarter at how you get it.
