Pete, I am still having problems reconciling the Visa bank account. Can you take me through the recommended steps for handling cc statements and subsequent payment.
Hi T. Are to getting a particular error and then I can be more specific in my help.
No, I am just confused as to what are the steps involved in processing a cc payment. I am using Money Out, Add Bill/Expense, Credit Card Payment. This generates a bank transfer from Current A/C to Visa account. When i go to reconcile Money In items in the visa account it doesn't give me the option to raise a Bill. It is asking me to raise an invoice. T
I have tried raising a bill and paying it. The problem is with that there is that there is no transfer into the VISA account. If I do a manual bank transfer it results in a duplicate debit transaction in my current account.
Peter Connor January 30, 2016Hi Therese,
Ok I'm a little confused so bare with me.
I am using Money Out, Add Bill/Expense, Credit Card Payment. This generates a bank transfer from Current A/C to Visa account.
That's correct your just making a transfer from one account to another - you're actually not paying bill. So all is good there.
When i go to reconcile Money In items in the visa account it doesn't give me the option to raise a Bill. It is asking me to raise an invoice.
So anything in Money IN is an incoming payment - so that's correct too.
When i go to reconcile Money In items in the visa account it doesn't give me the option to raise a Bill.
Just make sure you're statement in excel doesn't have a minus figure beside the number. Sometimes the bank export does this. Therefore Bullet thinks it's something else.
Can I just ask why you're reconciling "Money In Things", in a VISA statement. Money usually travels out of a Credit Card not in. Again just make sure there isn't a minus - beside the figures which would tell Bullet at it's the reverse of what I should be.
If I do a manual bank transfer it results in a duplicate debit transaction in my current account.
You shouldn't need to do any manual transfers for Credit Card items.
Let me know if that helps
Ok, I'll look at that in more detail later today.
Peter Connor January 30, 2016Cool - It sounds like the minus is the issue. If there was a bug in the rec we'd hear about it from tones of people. Bank exports can do that.

53Hey, For this payslip… https://accounts-app.bullethq.com/wages/view.page?id=19885 I’m trying to mark it as paid on this screen: https://accounts-app.bullethq.com/employeePayments/add.page?wageId=19885&returnUrl=/wages/index.page I already marked the employee as terminated in Bullet. It warned me that to be sure to have all the employee’s wages "entered" before terminating them, but I didn’t understand that that also included marking their payslip as paid. Is there any way for me to mark this payslip as paid?149PAYE modernisation / Real Time Reporting144Hello! I was just wondering if I can create statements?139hi guys We’ve registered for VAT. How do we add it to the reciepts?46I need to correct details of a loan I entered, but I can’t find anywhere to revise it. Is there a way? Problem: Bullet is showing loan payments starting from 2 May 2016, when it should be 14 March 2016. It is possible that I entered the terms wrong, but I think what may have actually happened is that I accidentally deleted 5 no. ‘bills’ that Bullet had generated in association with the loan. (Long story, but it is a weekly loan, it was attached to the wrong account, and I had to go back and delete payments so I could reconcile them with the proper account.) Ideally, I’d like to just wipe out whatever loan details Bullet has, start again, and reconcile the payments against the properly entered loan. Is this possible? If not, is there a workaround I could use to account for these 5 loan ‘bills’ that it looks as though I deleted? Right now they are shown as coming out of my current account but I have no ‘bill’ to reconcile them against from Bullet. Sorry for the hassle! And thanks.
