our busines received a grant. when i use ADD LOAN/GRANT, it refers to repayments. How do I record a Government Grant which does NOT have to be repaid?
Grants can be handled in different kind of ways.
You’ll have to use a manual journal entry to submit that. We have workflows built for the most common type of accounting.
If you’re not familiar with journal entries you can simply invite your accountant in to do it, it should only take a couple of minutes.
Journal Entries are found in “Accountant & Reporting”, in the top right
